Have your say on plans for Goole Freeport South

Arup are leading a consultation on behalf of St John’s College. University of Cambridge, who are proposing a high-quality employment development on land owned by the college at Goole, just south of junction 36 of the M62.

St John's College, Cambridge are the landowner of the Goole Freeport South Site and, together with our consultants, Arup, we are preparing an outline planning application for the development of the site, which will act as an extension to Goole 36 Enterprise Zone. The development of the site could provide a range of modern industrial uses, including advanced manufacturing, low-carbon energy production, energy storage, and modern logistics, which could support thousands of jobs and would contribute to the local economy.

A masterplan for the site is being developed to support the planning application, which will guide growth and development over the coming years. St John's College, Cambridge would like to share the initial plans and hear the views of local residents and businesses, to help shape the final plans.

The vision for the site is centred around maximising high quality employment opportunities including those in high-tech advanced manufacturing, low carbon energy, and modern distribution & logistics, bringing sustainable, transformational change to Goole and the wider region.
